Jhene Aiko is almost ready to deliver her debut studio album.
After the success of her EP “Sail Out,” fans only have to wait another month for its follow-up.
“Souled Out” is set to be released on September 9th, and the album’s artwork has also been revealed. The inspirational image depicts Jhene’s body being lifted away from the sea and towards the clouds in a beam of sunlight. It really fits with the image that she portrays of herself with both her music and her dress sense.

Miss Aiko has already spoken in quite a lot of detail about what fans can expect from her album, which will include a song that features the singer’s daughter Namiko. Although the project was originally slated for a May release by Jhene herself, its often better to make absolutely sure that the timing is right for these big releases.
Jhene later confirmed the news of her album’s release date with the following tweet;
