Our most recent #Artist2Watch is continuing to prove himself.
G-Eazy made his Late Night TV debut last night, thanks to Seth Meyers.
The Oakland native performed a verse of his current single “I Mean it,” channelling his inner American President, before making a quick outfit change to give the audience a live rendition of his track “Far Alone.”
Jay Ant also joined G-Eazy on stage for “Far Alone,” both of them putting huge energy into the performance. I have always been of the opinion that lyrical rap – no matter how catchy the hook or the chorus – isn’t entirely suited to a TV studio audience situation.
