Kid Cudi made an appearance on “The Arsenio Hall Show” this week.
He spoke about the current state of hip hop and more besides.
The Cleveland native got pretty worked up when addressing the subject of why the “money, cash, hoes” mantra is anti-progressive for the future of hip hop culture;
“there’s a time where you just have to…embrace the responsibility and understand that the power of music is something so special”
Cudi went on to speak on what his mission has always been with his music, which is to help kids to not feel alone and to prevent them from committing suicide, something that he has dealt with himself.
