Dawn Richard has announced the first official single from her forthcoming sophomore album “Blackheart”.
Confirming the news in a post to her fans on Instagram, through which she also revealed the artwork for the new track, the singer revealed that the new single which was produced by Cronos and inspired by the painting by artist Gustav Klimt called ‘Judith’, will be available to purchase on August 19th.
“It’s the story of a painting that is priceless and quite iconic being forgotten after being hung in a home too long,” revealed Dawn in a press release. “People tend to forget the worth of things after they’ve had them for a long time. ’Judith’ simply reminds her spectators of her worth.”
The artwork for the new single features Dawn wearing a golden mask by Adolfo Sanchez. Check out the artwork for the new single below.
